Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using MarketMan (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. What MarketMan does

MarketMan crawls websites you connect to identify SEO and accessibility issues, measures performance, collects visitor analytics via a tracking snippet you install on your own site, and lets you compose and schedule posts to a Facebook Page you connect through Meta's Login flow.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Only add websites to MarketMan that you own or have express authorization to crawl, scan, and monitor.
• Only connect Facebook Pages you administer, and comply with Meta's own Platform Terms when doing so.
• Not use the Service to crawl, scan, or collect data on third-party sites without permission, or to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other protections.
• Not use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes another party's rights.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Third-party integrations

Connecting a Facebook Page requires you to supply your own Meta Developer App credentials and grant MarketMan permission, via Meta's OAuth flow, to post on that Page on your behalf. MarketMan is not responsible for the availability, behavior, or policies of Meta's platform or any other third-party service you connect.

6. Data you provide

Crawl results, accessibility findings, performance scores, analytics events, and social post content are stored so the Service can display history and trends. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is collected and how it is used.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Crawl results, scores, and traffic-weighted rankings are informational and do not guarantee search rankings, accessibility compliance, or any particular business outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MarketMan is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages resulting from posts made to a connected Facebook Page or reliance on any finding or score the Service reports.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if required by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
