Introducing the MarketMan Chrome Extension

Every MarketMan account now comes with a companion Chrome extension — install it once, and you can check the page you're currently looking at without leaving the tab, then send it to your account for a full report.

What it actually checks

Click the extension icon on any page and it reads that page the same way our crawler does on its first pass:

• Title — present or missing
• Meta description — present or missing
• H1 — the heading text, or a count if there's more than one
• Word count — flagged if it's thin
• Images missing alt text — how many, out of how many total

It's not a full scan — no scoring, no Core Web Vitals, no accessibility rule pass — just the on-page basics you'd otherwise open dev tools to check by hand.

From snapshot to full report in one click

Sign in from the popup with your existing MarketMan account, and a button appears: Add this site to MarketMan. Click it, and that URL gets added to your dashboard with a real SEO crawl, accessibility scan, and performance check kicked off immediately — the same as adding a site manually, just without leaving the page you're already on. If the site's already in your account, the popup tells you that instead, so you're not tempted to add a duplicate.

Available on every plan, no extra cost

The extension itself isn't a paid feature — Free accounts get the same popup snapshot and one-click add as Starter and Pro. Adding a site still counts against whatever plan you're on, the same as it would from the dashboard, but there's no separate charge or upgrade required to use the extension.

Installing it

Add MarketMan to Chrome, pin it to your toolbar, and sign in from the popup. Connected devices show up under Profile → Chrome Extension in your dashboard, where you can disconnect one anytime — say, if you lose a laptop or just want to review what's still signed in.
